Lauren M. King, formerly Lauren Pastrich, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional with Compass Advisors and is looking forward to providing financial planning advice to the new generation of young families.
Lauren worked with high net worth clients and institutional accounts on Wall Street with Brown Brothers Harriman and Sanford C. Bernstein, a subsidiary of Alliance Bernstein. She also lived in Chicago working as a Marketing Manager at Sara Lee Corporation.
She is registered to sell insurance in NY, NJ, CT, IL, MD, PA, GA, and VA. And she is certified through the New York State Partnership for Long Term Care program.
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Lauren is active with the Cornell, Tuck and Dartmouth alumni associations. She is also active with several working mom and entrepreneurial women organizations and has put on seminars and participated in panels on financial planning for young families. She currently serves on the Board of the Port Washington Twin Pines Charitable Thrift Store. Additionally, Lauren is working with an organization, The Financial Literacy Education Project, in teaching classes on financial literacy to middle school and high school students throughout Long Island.
Additionally, Lauren presents at several real estate events throughout the year. As individuals and families explore buying and selling homes, either their primary residence, a second home or an investment property, Lauren provides a financial perspective when considering their choices.
Lauren resides in Port Washington, NY with her husband, Benjamin and their 4 young children. In her spare time, she enjoys running, photography and cake decorating.
